Driver / Messenger

Introduction A position has become available for a Driver / messenger to join our dynamic team. REPORT TO: Health Safety and Security Manager (HSS) DURATION: Five years fixed term contract KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: Fulfil messenger and driver duties at the State Theatre. Transporting employees to and from meetings and the airport. Collecting and delivering classified documents. Rendering general support in the department required. Maintaining knowledge on the policies and procedures applying to the working environment particularly regarding vehicles. Doing other ad-hoc functions as determined by the HSS Manager. Desired Experience & Qualification PREFERRED MINIMUM EDUCATION Grade 12 with a valid code 10 driver’s license with PDP and no endorsements. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 3 years relevant experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CRITICAL COMPETENCIES Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act. Must manage vehicle appropriately. High level of trustworthiness and reliability. Physically fit.
