Job Description Driver of Forklift, Clamp Truck, Side Cart, Overhead Crane or other power equipmentto load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and material. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform order filler and checker duties Requirements: Relevant valid license for operating forklift Previous operating vehicle experience Skills & Competencies: Be able to read and write, Knowledge of traffic safety signs Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions Ability to establish effective working relationships with crew and other members Computer literate and operate a computer to company requirements Knowledge of applicable safety regulations Ability to liaise with other departmental sections Duties: General: Avoid unnecessary delays Attend toolbox topics Adhere to supervision instructions and to safety policies Be prepared to work overtime/shifts when required Good housekeeping Any other ad hoc duties as required Follow required procedures at all times Ensure that the correct equipment is used Maintain all equipment in good working condition Complete job correctly within allocated timeframe Receiving / Put-Away: Upload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage loacation Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas. Quality Assurance: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage Report quality variances Carrying out all duties in accordance with the quality assurance procedures / departmental works instructions Order Picking: Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped. Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards Equipment: Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a forklift or other power equipment. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean and orderly fashion. On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods General Arisan Work: Assist Artisans with general work as required from time-to-time Performing other duties as reasonably required by Management Quality Assurance Carrying out all duties in accordance with the quality assurance procedures / departmental works instructions
